I met some cops this morning …

The police stopped me this morning …

I looked homeless and so I was an easy target, and why not harass some random guy … maybe it will make you feel better …

Maybe next time I go for the cop’s gun …

Maybe next time it goes down differently.

“Dan, they’ll kill you …”

Brother – their WORLD is killing me already.

  • show me your papers
  • where do you live
  • why does it bother you that we stopped you
  • did you know there’s so much crime here now
  • why don’t you have a driver’s license

Yeah – I think we’re at the end of the movie, not at the beginning.

Spiders …

I get that you’re here to help, but I gotta say it:

  1. I don’t want to see you, do your shit in private.
  2. Don’t have so many babies that I regret not having smashed you.
  3. Stop with that karate pose when I’m on the pooper – unless you’re venomous, you’re not fooling anyone …

The old school house, in the film “Over the Edge” …

There’s an old school house in the parking lot, almost as if it’s on display, a monument, to a time now forgotten. Next to this is the “New Granada Jr High”, flashy and modern and plastic and aluminum.

With the old school house – there’s more “outside” than “inside”. You get the sense that it’s a limited space, but still a space of control – without any pretense.

The new school has it all. Food, fun, sports, drugs. The new school is a place you can dump your kid for the day.

The old school house had a way out for every room.

The new school house has a way in for every kid, and no way out.
