ARCTIC TEMPERATURES?

The ARCTIC is at historic lows for ice mass, the permafrost is in collapse, most the temps being measured around the artic circle are WARMER than certain magical parts of the USA right now.

So, logically: if these are “arctic temperatures” shouldn’t they be warmer temps, per the reality of an imploding arctic?
