A lonely death
not best or worst
as cave snakes embark
and the park
where my body was dumped
is now empty

Spotted crane
leaving a stain
the membrane torn
by the scorn
and regret
a last pet
left at the vet
a note in the cage
"no rage, no sadness"
just stale
and a body melting
at the veil
