This will seem like a repeat post, because I’ve been mulling this over in my head especially since what happened last spring: iykyk.
I can’t prove that I am a victim of any government program, to include MK-ULTRA; I think it could indicate adult onset schizophrenia or some other related mental disorder. I wish I could say. I think these kinds of programs get a lot of dramatic attention from Hollywood, but not a lot of substance is presented beyond the standard narrative. We are led to believe there were “few victims”, but as with most clandestine bullshit there’s no way to prove or disprove this. We are also told the program is over, but nothing is really over is it?
- CIA conducted MK-ULTRA experiments at the University of Washington. My mom was a student at the UW during this time period.
- My mom befriended someone (or she was befriended by someone) who would later marry (or was married to at the time) an old school FIRST GENERATION CIA agent. I met him once, it was weird. You ever head of the 1,000 yard stare? – his stare seemed to go 10,000 yards … as he held his whiskey, and we talked banal subjects of little import. I can still see him, in his leather chair, it was 1996. BTW: Old School CIA married Old School CIA.
- Same woman (CIA widow at this time) came up to me at my mom’s funeral in 2010 and claimed she had some “folder” full of materials related to my dad’s service during WW2. She implied that he was an unwitting participant during operation CROSSROADS, 1946, just before my dad left the service.
- As a kid, unknowingly, I was befriended by (at the time I didn’t know) a CIA contract agent. He was also an “eye doctor”. I recall him having the affect of the dentist from “Marathon Man”. At one point in this weird relationship, could have been 1981 or 1982, I had lunch with the “doctor” and what I presume, in retrospect, was a retired MOSSAD agent living on Whidbey Island. I don’t remember anything about the lunch once we started eating. I don’t remember leaving or the ride home. I just remember being dropped off at my home later that day. I think it was a Saturday.
- I had two childhood traumatic experiences I can recall that were WAY OVER THE TOP, and it could have been an adverse response to a “scary movie” as I remembered it initially. But in retrospect: not being able to sleep for two or three nights seems like a big response to a horror film. The movies were “The Omen” (1976) and John Carpenter’s first “Halloween” film. I watched these on the doctor’s VCR at his home. The cover for all of this was a “friendship” with his son that evaporated as mysteriously as it began.
- If I were targeted, it is more likely than not that other members of my family were targeted as well.
There are other details, not as concrete or clear.
What I have are fragments of a picture that never made any sense.
I don’t claim to be “special”, but I would contend that MK-ULTRA never really ended – it simply did what other CIA ops did in the 1970’s and 1980’s, it went underground, became a financially backed NGO with no direct ties to the US budget. It never stopped. It “improved”.
Finally – whatever the truth is, I will never know. There is no condition under which I will know. When the SYSTEM collapses, we will ALL BE TOO BUSY just trying to survive.
