pirate ship
standing tall
taking turns
lightning urns
a wicked churn

God is standing
He sees the storm
forming

returning
breaking the wheel
He doesn't care how you feel
the toil and sweat
every bet

Boiled Frogs

Boiled frogs ...

Boiled frogs can jump out.
But they don't know what's happening.
I know what's happening.
I can't jump out.

Boiled frogs are remembered.
They don't remember themselves.
I am not remembered.
I don't exist.

Boiled frogs endure.
They die but there are more.
Always more.
From that WHORE called nature.
Bounding forth
with hopeful arc
swimming and playing
always sure
the boiled frog endures.
I do not endure.
I wither away.
Dust that is discarded
someday.
