- Had a lot of computer problems in the last few weeks, building to a CRESCENDO that required re-installing Ubuntu 18 … and ditching 20 again. Don’t really want to talk about it.
- I think we’re ready for the presentation, but today was a downer for me … I felt that feeling the pitiable fool feels when he shakes his fist at God.

Summer of 2018, the Horizon Air mechanic, and the grabby Asian boss … I experienced my own kind of crazy … two sets of books crazy.
I thought about that mechanic, like “he might just be ahead of his time” …
Summer of 2018 was also the summer when it was pretty much HARD as F to breathe, in Seattle, in July and August and part of September. And this was kind of crazy too.
And then there was the monkey herpes, and the race war, and all the other psyops to make you MORE crazy …
And here we are … ready to land.
Ubuntu 18.04 – Setting UP JS8 …
sudo apt update sudo apt install fldigi ----------------------- sudo apt update sudo apt install flrig ---------------------- sudo apt update sudo apt install libhamlib-utils ------------------- sudo adduser $USER dialout ------------ install debian package from js8call website (pretty much a GUI thing, download DEBIAN from js8call.com and click on it and then install when the software manager pops up) The rest rig configuration ... but this does ensure all the right "libs" that js8call needs
